“Growing up with a love for sports and specifically showjumping, fitness has always been a big part of my life. However, the consequences of over-training and eating sub-optimally led me to look into the importance of finding balance. Turns out being healthy is so much more than reaching an ideal weight or fitness PB! As such I went on to study Integrative Nutrition and to share my experience, healthy living tips and recipes through the Fitnut Blog in 2014 as well as Fitnut Eats in 2016.

In a continuous attempt to raise awareness on long term health and wellness among women in the UAE, I co-founded #theADmovement in 2016 through which we were able to grow a wonderful community of like-minded women.

Today, I am first and foremost mum to AlJood (4) and Zayed (2). My journey into motherhood and subsequent body and mental transformation pushed me to look closely into women’s overall health and fitness. Our body goes through tremendous change as well as trauma during birth and deserves the kind of care we often overlook in today’s rushed world. In my personal journey, the one thing the struck me was the lack of information readily available in terms of prenatal fitness and postnatal recovery. Coming in with a background in Education Consulting and Strategy, I truly believe in the power of knowledge. Chapters was born to empower women by covering this void and allowing them a safe space to ask questions and receive accurate information.

Give yourself time and trust us, you’ll come out of it stronger than ever.”
